A Safer Playground: body, voice & improvisation practices

Every Wednesday 11:30-12:30 at Flow Motion Studio Wedding Schwedenstraße 14, 13357 Berlin

This class offers embodied training and creative exploration where consent, trust, and collaboration are central. We move, breathe, sound, sweat, and practice stillness, cultivating presence through listening and response rather than competition or performance pressure.

The work draws from physical theater, contemporary dance, and Laban–Bartenieff movement principles. Voice practice is informed by the Linklater approach and ensemble vocal work, supporting breath, resonance, and expression.

Improvisation is used as a practice tool to train awareness, responsiveness, and creative risk-taking — both solo and in relation with others.

Boundaries and consent are part of the practice: we check in, choose, and negotiate contact, distance, and interaction. The class is open to performers and non-performers alike who are curious about body–voice integration, relational presence, and embodied creativity.

Come to train, explore and rediscover play as a serious practice.
